Volunteering is important and basic value as well as specified activity of the association’s members. Various mentoring programmes exist not only in the Czech Republic. They are based on professional, yet paid or employment relation. The programmes under the heading of our association work only with mentors who practise their activity as volunteers.

According to the portal Dobrovolnik.cz (Volunteer.cz): A volunteer is a person who helps other people willingly and without remuneration in his / her free time and participates in public benefit activities.

The definition of volunteering on the Czech Wikipedia: Volunteering is an act of an individual, being done without remuneration in favour of others.
